Come & Try Cross Country Skiing
Ever wanted to try Cross Country Skiing or learn new techniques and skills?
Open to everyone who is new to Cross Country Skiing! Cost per person is $22 for the day. The day involves a two hour lesson from 9.00am to 11.00am by professional ski instructors, a BBQ lunch and tour of the trails in the afternoon. Please arrive by 8.30am to be graded into groups.
Participants will need to bring their own cross country equipment. Equipment can be hired from Wilderness Sports(Jindabyne & Perisher) or Rhythm Sports (Cooma).
This event is run jointly by NSW & ACT Snowsports and Perisher X-Country.
Please note that in the event that the Come & Try day cannot be held due to snow conditions, participants entry payment will be donated to the Perisher Nordic Shelter.

Please note that to register for this event you must be a Ski & Snowboard Australia member, however, there is a FREE membership option - Snowracer membership. Snowracer membership provides FREE personal insurance on the day that you are participating in an event. This insurance is for non-medical expenses to the value of $500 and covers items such as refunds for your entry fee and lift tickets, lost accommodation or car repatriation. Snowracer membership gives you a SnowID, which makes it easier to sign up for events. For example your personal information will be auto-filled in to the event registration. To register for this event, first register for Snowracer Here (https://www.snowracer.com.au/registration/) You will then be sent a username via email. Set your password by following the link on the email. This username and password will be asked when you click on “REGISTER” above to enter this event. Once you have logged in, completed the additional information required.
