2018 Australian XC Ski Championships Open Sprint - Classical
Organised for Ski & Snowboard Australia XC Committee by SnowSports ACT XC Committee.
This is a FIS endorsed event, part of the 2018 Continental Cup series and also an Australian Junior/Open Selection Race.
An individual freestyle sprint race will be conducted near the Perisher Nordic Shelter on Saturday 21 July.
Start Time
Qualification starting rounds will commence at 9.30am. Quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will follow at appropriate intervals.
Race Office
The Race Office at the Nordic Shelter will be open from 8.00am to 9.00am on race day. Race numbers can be collected during those hours.
Online Entries
Online entries will close on Thursday 19 July at midnight. Late entries will be accepted until 8.30am on race day.

Juniors (U20) - $35
Seniors - $45
Age Groups (age at 31st December, 2018)
MWU20 - Junior: Born 1999 or later
Open - Senior: Born 1998 or earlier
Presentations
Presentations will be held in the Nordic Shelter shortly after the event.

Information for Australian Sprint Championship participants:
Australian Distance Championships are held on behalf of the National Cross Country Committee of Skiing Australia (SAXC).
All intending Sprint Championship participants must have a current SSA race licence or be a Sports Class racer registered with SSA.
Only skiers with current National rankings will be seeded and will start at the head of the field.
Sports Class (Junior U20 and below) are eligible to compete in the Championship Race and receive a result in the Championship Class and are also eligible for National and State rankings or National and State team selection.
Sports Class Race: Open to all SSA registered Sports Class skiers. Sports Class competitors will be listed in a separate race result. Sport Class competitors (Open and Masters) are ineligible for the Open Championship results, National and State rankings or National and State team selection. Sports Class (Master U40 and above) skiers are eligible for the Championship Class Age results however they are not eligible for Open Championship results.
