Falls Creek Alpine Masters Championships

Announcing in 2019 the Falls Creek Alpine Masters Championships; on the weekend of the 26^th- 28^th July. The alpine Masters Championships includes the Wombat Rambler Super G Night race, a GS training course on the Saturday and finishing with the final event of a GS race down the slot of the summit.

Complete the whole championships over the weekend or select individual events. The Wombat’s Rambler is a team event of four (including at least one member of opposite gender). If you can’t get a team together enter solo and the race and events department will allocate you a team. We will have a separate set of results just for you Masters!

On the Saturday hone in your skills for the main event on Sunday! We will have a timed training course set up on Father Fosters from 12pm-3pm.

Sunday morning return to the traditional race line of Falls Creek and test your skills down the slot of the summit.

Wombats Rambler:

Friday 26th July: Super G/Downhill Race from Drovers top station to Wombats Bottom

Rider Meeting and Bib Collection: 5.30pm Halley’s/FEX Bottom load station

Load Lift- 6:15pm

Course Inspection: 6:30pm 

Start Race: 7:15pm

Presentation: 9.30pm Stingray Lounge and Bar

 

Saturday 27th July

Timed Training Course

Course open from: 12pm-3pm

 

Sunday 28th July

Master GS Race Summit

9am - Bib Collection (Frying Pan)

9.45am- 10.30am- Course inspection

10.45am- First Run (Best of 2 runs)

12.45pm- Second Run

3pm- Presentation
