This is a FIS endorsed event, part of the 2019 Continental Cup series and also an Australian Junior/Open Selection Race.

10.00am - Interval Start

Race Office
The Race Office at the Nordic Shelter will be open from 8am to 9.30am on race day.  Race numbers can be collected during those hours.

Online Entries
Online entries will close on Tuesday 13th August at midnight (to be included in draw).
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED !!

Important Documents and Information

Information for Australian Distance Championship participants:
Australian Distance Championships are held on behalf of the National Cross Country Committee of Skiing Australia (SAXC).

This Australian Championship event is open to all currently registered SSA International, National and Junior (U20) Sports Class license holders. The event has two categories of racing that are determined by the race license class of the event entrant.

All intending Championship participants must have a current SSA race licence or be a Sports Class racer registered with SSA.

Only skiers with current National rankings will be seeded.

Sports Class (Junior U20 and below) are eligible to compete in the Championship Race and receive a result in the Championship Class and are also eligible for National and State rankings or National and State team selection.

Sports Class Race:  Open to all SSA registered Sports Class skiers.  Sports Class competitors will be listed in a separate race result.  Sport Class competitors (Open and Masters) are ineligible for the Open Championship results, National and State rankings or National and State team selection. Senior Sports Class skiers are eligible for the Championship Class Age results however they are not eligible for Open Championship results.

Snowracer (identified with your SnowID #) has been implemented by SSA and is an initiative to increase participation for recreational and competitive skiers and snowboarders and is FREE to join. All participants with a current SnowID # are provided with FREE insurance cover while competing in Australia. This insurance is for non-medical expenses to the value of $500 and covers items such as refunds for your entry fee and lift tickets, lost accommodation or car repatriation.
