Perisher Junior Mogul Championships

The Perisher Junior Mogul Championships will be held on 3 - 4 August in Perisher is a fun and exciting event designed to introduce young athletes to the next level of competition, and provides a challenging environment for Junior moguls athletes to show their stuff in a fun competition environment. The competition is held on a slightly more difficult course than Interschools and includes a time component to measure speed on the moguls as part of the overall score awarded.

The course usually has two jumps, requiring the athlete to ski moguls after landing the top air. This is an introduction to high level competition and a similar format to what would be experienced on World Cup and Olympic venue courses. A training day on 2 August gives all athletes a chance to ski the competition course in preparation for single and duals moguls competition.

• Who: Mogul Skiers - Age Divisions;
  • Youth (6-13 Years, Born 2006-2013)
  • Juniors (14-19 Years, Born 2000-2005) 
• Format: August 3 (Singles) & August 4 (Dual)
• Licence: A SSA SnowID/ SSA Snowracer Membership (free) is recommended.  
• Waivers: All competitors must agree to the waiver and release online during registration.
• Helmet: Helmet use is mandatory for all participants during all events.
• Tickets: Competitors must have a valid lift ticket (one per competitor, non-transferable) for each day of event)
