Perisher are pleased to again be the host of the Australian National Freestyle Mogul Championships. Australia's finest will be on the hill, training throughout the season with a host of international athletes and coaches - and getting pumped up to compete in the Australian titles.
An unprecedented line-up of the world’s leading Olympians in freestyle mogul skiing will compete at the Australian National Freestyle Mogul Championships on 27-28 August 2018 on Perisher’s Toppa’s Dream run. Known as, one of the longest and most difficult mogul championship courses in the world. The skiers will jump up to three storeys high, execute spectacular aerial manoeuvres and land directly into a course of moguls, through which they travel at about 10 metres-per-second over the bumps.
The Australian National Freestyle Mogul Championships forms the first FIS event of the 2019/20 northern season and will attract the best athletes to Australia from the US, Canada, Korea, Japan, France and Switzerland. Australia’s best mogul athletes Britt Cox, Jakara Anthony and Matt Graham, will battle against the overseas contingent , that includes many of the top 10 men and women in the world. Graham, Anthony and Cox, will lead a strong group of Australian athletes who are seeking to follow up from their inspiring performances in the Winter Olympics earlier this year, including Graham's stunning silver medal run in Moguls at the PyeongChang Olympics.
